Runathon Event – Friday June 9th at 2:00

We are excited to have our annual Runathon event this Friday at 2:00 on our upper field. All students in the school will participate in this PAC fundraiser event. Students will be running, walking, dancing and skipping their way to meet their goals. We will set the timer for 20 minutes and see how many laps they can achieve!

The fundraiser is optional for families to participate in. If your family is participating in the fundraiser, please send back the forms and money that was collected by Wednesday June 14th. Paper copies of Runathon forms were sent home with students in May.  If you need a second copy of the fundraiser forms, please click here

Fun Day – June 14th

Students and staff are preparing and getting ready for Fun Day!

Next week we will have our annual Fun Day! Throughout the day students will have the opportunity to participate in creative play stations throughout the school. There will be lots of choice to explore, play and engage in movement and hands on activities. We will also have a few races and our annual Grade 5 water balloon toss on our field between 11:00 and 12:00! Families are welcome to come watch the races and balloon toss between 11:00 and 12:00.

We are hopeful to have lots of outside time, so please make sure to dress for lots of movement and wear sunscreen. We also encourage students to wear hats and pack your water bottle! It will be a very active day so hydration will be very important!

National Indigenous Peoples Day – Dance Performance – June 20th

We will be celebrating National Indigenous Peoples Day throughout the week of June 19th. On June 20th we will be participating and observing traditional dance from local students across our city. Families are welcome to come and watch the performance and share in the experiences. Some dances include the Jingle Dance, Fancy Dance and Grass Dance. The dance performance will begin at 11:15 on June 20th.
