Good Things Happening at Howay
The third term was filled with appreciation and gratitude towards all of the school community. In particular, the month of February was busy as we focused learning on themes of diversity, gratitude, appreciation and belonging. The enthusiasm and energy in our school has been so amazing for students that a “Spirit Club” has formed at Howay!
Students who have joined the club have opportunities to plan and organize special events and build on our themes of community and belonging. Check out a few pictures from our classroom door decorating event and our gratitude and appreciation day for our staff on “Happy You Day” (Treat Day for staff).
We would like to thank our PAC for all of the wonderful fundraising and events we had over the last few months. The dance was a huge success! This was another great event to celebrate each other and our wonderful school community!
