December Updates
Thank You!
A very BIG thank you to all of the Howay Staff, PAC and BC Hydro Quality Management Department!!!! Your generous donations to our school hampers has been very beneficial to many families in our community. During the pandemic, we have seen families impacted and the support of our community and the generous donations have been a positive gesture during such a stressful time. As well, we would like to thank Superstore for their generous donations. They reached out to our district to support families and we have been able to provide gift cards to families.
December Spirit Days
We have 2 Spirit Days this week!
Get those holiday or winter PJs ready to go for Thursday, December 17th! This is always a fun and special tradition at Howay during last week of the first term of school.
We are also excited to have our Holiday, Winter and/or Festive Outfit Day on Friday, December 18th! Make sure to find those fun sweaters, hats and toques to make our day fun and full of spirit!!
COVID-19 Updates – Winter Break
As it is a time where we have many questions and often uncertainty, it will be very important for families to be checking their emails, over the winter break, as we may need to communicate important updates from our school, the school district or the Fraser Health Authority. Typically, there would not be emails sent to families over the winter break but during this time it may be important for updates regarding COVID-19. Please also check out the district webpage by clicking here if you need further information as it has a dedicated COVID-19 section to help with frequently asked questions and current information regarding schools and COVID-19.
