Daily Health Check and COVID Updates
Recently, Fraser Health has updated the Daily Health Check for both staff and students. Please review the Daily Health Check every day before students attend school. You can find the Daily Health Check on our district and school websites. Notification letters have also been updated as well as district and school protocols. Please review changes and updates by clicking here.
The Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
The FW Howay PAC has another great fundraiser on the go! Please check out this link for “Growing Smiles” and order all of your spring plants and flowers.
Positions for the 2021/2022 PAC Executive will be voted on at the April meeting. Please join the PAC at their next meeting (April 12th – Zoom meeting) to nominate a PAC member. Please email the PAC secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org for a meeting link and more information about the PAC, executive positions and how to get involved. (Positions available are: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, DPAC rep)
Report cards will be available on the MyEd Family Portal on March 11th. An email will be sent on the 11th to notify you once the report cards are available for viewing. Please click here to access your account on the Family Portal. Paper copies of report cards are no longer sent home with students.
Lost and Found
Please check out the lost and found. We will be placing our new rolling lost and found cart outside for parents to look at throughout this week.
Students will not be taking library books home this week. Please return all books to school by March 12th.
Registration deadline March 12th
If you have children starting school in September 2021 please click here for details about the registration process for new students. Registration is open until Friday, March 12th.
New Westminster Schools has now moved to a centralized registration process that is operating out of the new Welcome Centre, located at New Westminster Secondary School: 820 Sixth Street, New Westminster.
We have a fun spirt day on Friday! Get into the theme of St. Patrick’s Day or celebrate the arrival of spring by wearing green or rainbow colours!
