If possible, schools will remain open through winter weather, but for more severe days where closures may be occur, click here for information.
Dressing for West Coast Weather
It is be very rare that we have students stay inside at recess and lunch due to inclement weather so please ensure that your children are dressed to be outside every day for a minimum of 1 hour.
Clothing that supports rain and winter weather include raincoats, mittens, warm winter jackets, boots, etc.
We encourage families to have children leave an umbrella at school as well as extra clothes (sock, shoes, pants, gloves/mittens, etc.). Students have personal coat hooks and cubbies to keep umbrellas and extra clothes.
