Winter Clothing Drive 2016

Mrs. Dupuis has been discussing with the students the effects of cold weather on people who are homeless. Student empathy and enthusiasm to help is abundant and the students are keen to get started.

Starting Monday, January 11/16 students are encouraged to bring item/s to help homeless people in our community keep warm this winter. The following items are in need:
ADULT sized: new or gently used…..
socks
toques
scarves
blankets
gloves/mittens
winter coats/boots

Students can drop off their item/s in the library on the collection table. The last day for drop off is Monday January 31/16

Mrs. Dupuis will be delivering our collection along with members of the student council team to the Lookout Emergency Aid Society in New Westminster.

Howay School loves to help and this is one way we can help those in need.

Thank you for your support,
